Cleaning for a Reason is a nonprofit organization that offers free home cleaning to cancer patients in the United States and Canada. The goal is to remove the burden of cleaning and allow those recovering from surgery, in active treatment, or in the hospital to focus on their health and spend valuable time with loved ones. When cancer makes life at home difficult, Cleaning for a Reason comes together to support cancer patients and their families.
We serve all individuals and families with any type of cancer. Patients are eligible if they are recovering from cancer surgery, in cancer treatment, or in hospice care.
We welcome volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in West Hartford and the surrounding areas. Join us in transforming lives and strengthening our community.
We want to serve as many patients as we can. The client must live in Hartford County and be recovering from cancer surgery, cancer treatment, or hospice care. The nominee must agree to have the house cleaned by West Hartford Cleaning Services professionals and local volunteers.
Our cleaning service is entirely free of charge to the patient. We proudly donate our time and resources as a heartfelt gesture to give back to individuals and families within our community, ensuring they receive the support and care they truly deserve during challenging times.
