As we continue to grow, we’ve noticed an increase in last-minute skipping and rescheduling, which affects our cleaning technicians. To maintain a reputable team, we must provide our cleaners with consistent daily schedules to prevent loss of wages.

Flexible Scheduling

We operate on a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs. Please note that we do our best to provide exact time estimates, but sometimes circumstances beyond our control, such as construction, weather conditions, and transit time, may cause delays.

Rescheduling or Skipping a Service

If you need to reschedule or skip a service, please provide at least 48 business hours’ notice (excluding weekends). This policy is in place to prevent lost wages for our cleaners. If a cleaning appointment is skipped with less than 48 business hours’ notice, a 50% rate of service will be charged based on the rate of your scheduled service.

Skipping Includes:

• Unable to gain access to enter home
• No running water
• No electricity
• No working A/C

Notice for Recurring Clients:

Skipping weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly, or monthly services will incur an additional fee added to the following cleaning service:

• Weekly: $15.00
• Bi-weekly: $25.00
• Monthly: $50.00

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we’re prepared to handle situations in the best way possible. By having policies and processes in place, we can ensure that our cleaners are treated fairly and that our clients receive the best possible service.

Our instant pricing is based on years of experience, but please note that the final price may be adjusted based on the actual condition of your home.

To avoid any surprises, if we find that the job will require extra time, we will call you to discuss the situation. If we are unable to reach you, the crew will need to leave, and a cancellation fee will be charged.

We reserve the right to reevaluate our rates at any time based on the time required to meet our clients’ standards. If the cleaning time significantly differs from the original estimate, we will contact you to discuss any necessary price or service adjustments.

If you’ve requested hourly cleaning, please have a prioritized list ready. Our cleaning crew will start at the top of the list and work their way down until the time is up.

*Please note that we do not offer a recurring discount for hourly cleaning services.

If you have concerns about your pet’s behavior, safety, etc. Please restrict your pets and/or remove your pets from the property during cleaning service if you feel it necessary or have any concerns they might get nervous, angry, or anxious.

For health and safety reasons, we are unable to clean the following:

• Mold: Due to OSHA regulations and potential health risks, mold removal requires specialized training and equipment. We recommend hiring a certified mold remediation professional for these services.
• Hoarding homes or areas with excessive clutter
• Areas contaminated with animal or human body fluids, including:

• • Blood
  • Feces
  • Vomit
  • Urine
  • Excretions
  • Cat litter boxes
  • Bird cages

We prioritize the well-being of our clients and staff, and cannot take on cleaning tasks that pose a risk to health and safety.

For the safety and well-being of our employees, we have the following guidelines:

• Our cleaning technicians only use 2-step ladders to access high areas. This ensures their stability and security while working.
• We do not move objects or furniture weighing more than 35 pounds to prevent injury and maintain a safe working environment.

If you would like us to clean behind heavy objects or in hard-to-reach areas, please arrange to move these items prior to our arrival. This will enable us to provide a more thorough and effective cleaning service.

At West Hartford Cleaning Services, we’re committed to delivering 100% satisfaction with every cleaning service. We’ve built our reputation on providing exceptional quality and attention to detail, but we also understand that mistakes can happen.

If for any reason you’re not completely delighted with our cleaning, we’ll re-service the area within 24 hours of notification at no additional cost. Our goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction and earn your trust as a valued client.

We provide all the necessary equipment and professional-grade chemicals to thoroughly clean your home.

If you prefer us to use your cleaning supplies, please note that we are not responsible for any damage related to those products. We ask that you have the cleaning chemicals and supplies ready so we can perform our service as efficiently as possible.

If you require the use of green cleaning products or wish for us to use your own cleaning supplies, please inform us before the service begins.

Yes, we use eco-friendly and safe products to ensure a healthy environment for you and your family.

Please ensure easy access to the areas that need cleaning and remove any valuable or fragile items to prevent damage.

• Safety concerns
• Inappropriate or uncomfortable situations
• Presence of weapons on premises
• Severe clutter or hoarding
• Disconnected utilities

Our employees have the right to leave a premises if they encounter:

• Extremely unsanitary conditions
• Situations that make them feel unsafe or threatened

If you book a cleaning online that is deemed unreasonable, our cleaners may refuse service on the spot. In such cases, you will be charged a cancellation fee.We take the safety and well-being of our employees seriously and will not compromise on their security. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
